from Kyoto across lake Biwa to Nagoya

My journey takes me to lake Biwa – Japan’s biggest freshwater lake – where I am being hosted by a Japanese lawyer in Onihachiman who’s most favourite cases are crimes. I organised a little couch surfing meeting and my host and I have dinner at Naomi’s place another host who also accepted my request but I received her answer a bit later than the one of my current host.

It is mid July the hottest season of the year and already the third week in a row with 36°C (97°f). So the next travelling day I enjoy my lunch break with a nice, relaxing swim in lake Biwa before reaching my next host in Nagahama. Once again an U.S. American host who teaches English here. After Nagahama my trip takes me across a little mountain pass to Ogaki before reaching Nagoya.

Special thanks to: Yasuyuki Kitagawa (Japan), Naomi Uhibu (Japan), Dane Nightingale (U.S.A.) Hubertus Neidhart from Webspace Provider Network for excellent web page hosting services; Lilith Pendzich
